The CNMI community has undergone many difficulties and changes during this past year and faces even more challenges in the months and years to come. Healthcare, immigration, local workforce development, tourist security, and the economy, the economy, and the economy are only a few of the serious human resource management and business issues occupying the front pages of newspapers and the minds of the Commonwealth’s leaders and community members.
The Northern Marianas Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management is pleased to welcome Gov. Eloy S. Inos to address these issues and others at the society’s Aug. 29, 2013, general membership meeting. Recognizing the wide range of significant issues and possible topics, the governor has been invited to speak from an open agenda. Inos will be accompanied by selected members of his Cabinet and will accept questions following his presentation, dependent upon his schedule and the time available. The society greatly appreciates the governor taking time from his schedule to meet and speak with our members.
This special meeting is open to the public and will be held in Charley’s Cabaret at the Pacific Islands Club on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, from 11:30am to 1:30pm.
The presentation includes lunch at a cost of $20 for SHRM members and $30 for non-members. Seats are limited, so make your reservation early by contacting Malou Jardinero at 234-6601 local 621/622 or e-mail her at firstname.lastname@example.org. (SHRM)
