Pena House and Iridescent, retailers of the latest fashion on Saipan, are offering ticket holders for the upcoming Green Gala a discount on all clothing and shoes.
The Green Gala, which will be held this Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at the Fiesta Resort & Spa’s Hibiscus Hall, aims to raise critical funds to help the Mariana Islands Nature Alliance, a nonprofit organization, continue its work in protecting the environment.
Those who have purchased tickets for the Gala can take advantage of a 15-percent discount on all clothing and shoes at Pena House or Iridescent when they show their ticket to the cashier.
Guests for the Green Gala are encouraged to be in their cocktail attire for the event.
“We are really thankful to Pena House and Iridescent for their support and for offering this discount to those who have purchase Green Gala tickets,” said Frankie Eliptico, MINA board chairperson. “They have also agreed to donate gift certificates that we can offer as raffle prizes at the event.”
The leading conservation nonprofit organization in the Commonwealth, MINA has successfully implemented many projects, including the Obyan Rehabilitation Project, the Teacher Environmental Camp, the Marine Debris Prevention program, Tasi Watch Project, and the Adopt-A-Bin Project, which has placed recycle bins at all the major beaches on the island.
In order to continue its efforts to preserve and protect the CNMI’s fragile environment and biodiversity, MINA is seeking the community’s participation in the Green Gala event. The organization is supported by project grants and by generous contributions from local businesses and community members.
