Due to the overwhelming response to the Green Gala that will be held this Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, the Mariana Islands Nature Alliance has announced that no additional tickets will be sold at the door.
“We want to thank all the individuals who have bought tickets and all the companies who have contributed to the Green Gala,” said Sam Sablan, MINA executive director. “We are working hard to put on a great event for everyone who have purchased tickets and to make them as comfortable as possible. Unfortunately, because of space limitations, we are unable to sell any more tickets.”
The leading conservation nonprofit organization in the Commonwealth, MINA has successfully implemented many projects, including the Obyan Rehabilitation Project, the Teacher Environmental Camp, the Marine Debris Prevention program, Tasi Watch Project, and the Adopt-A-Bin Project.
In addition to great entertainment, dinner, and a variety of beverages, the Green Gala will feature highlights from MINA’s projects, a silent auction, and many other activities that promises a memorable evening.
“It’s going to be a great night for the environment,” said Fran Castro, MINA board member. For more information about the Green Gala, call the MINA office at 233-REEF (7333). (MINA)
