The Tinian Marianas Lions Club will hold an orientation this Sunday, Sept. 29, from 2pm to 4pm, at the Tinian Junior/Senior High School cafeteria.
Those interested in joining the newest Lions Club in the Marianas is invited to attend the orientation. District governors will talk about the civic organization and what it does to help the community.
“This is open to all service-minded people, so come and join the largest service organization in the world. Together we can make a difference to the community we belong,” said TMLC guiding member Paul Madriaga.
Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest service club organization with 1.3 million members in approximately 45,000 clubs in more than 208 countries and geographic locations around the world. Since 1917, Lions Clubs have provided aid for the blind and visually impaired and made a strong commitment to community service and serving youth throughout the world.
