Gov. Eloy S. Inos nominated today, Thursday, his legal counsel, Teresa Kim-Tenorio, to serve as CNMI Superior Court associate judge, some four months since the last nomination was withdrawn.
Kim-Tenorio’s nomination requires the Senate’s advice and consent.
Besides Tenorio-Kim, the governor appointed three other women today to key positions.
They include Edith Deleon Guerrero to serve as Labor secretary days after the Oct. 1 official merging of Labor and the Workforce Investment Agency; Dr. Elizabeth D. Rechebei to the Northern Marianas College Board of Regents; and Shirley T. Sablan to the Commonwealth Development Authority board of directors.
They also require Senate confirmations.
