The Commonwealth Office of Transit Authority announced yesterday that it has resumed full operations after a half-day of furlough.
COTA partially closed its doors Wednesday morning, Oct. 2, at 11am in response to the federal government shutdown. Their Call-a-Ride program, however, continued to serve the community without any interruptions.
“We recognize the importance of being responsible leaders as well as the value of commitment to our riders,” said Tomas J. Camacho, special assistant to the governor for public transportation.
