In recognition of their generous cash donation, Bank of Guam was named title sponsor by the organizing committee of the upcoming Joeten Memorial Golf Classic, a fundraiser golf tournament event.
“It is with great pleasure that we partner with Joeten in their endeavor to give back to the community,” said Marcy Tomokane, Bank of Guam Saipan branch president.
“We are very fortunate and grateful that we have a company like Bank of Guam who truly believes in Joeten’s charitable arm and the foundation’s mission,” said JMGC chair Somia Quan. “In the end, their donation will go a long way for those who need it most.”
There are four different sponsorship packages offered by the tournament committee: Founder’s Club ($5,000), Trustees’ Club ($2,500), Eagle Club ($1,000), and Friends of JCF ($999 and below).
The Joeten Memorial Golf Classic will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at the Lao Lao Bay Golf Resort. The tournament will be a stroke play, low gross format. First, second, and third place winners in the Championship, A, B, C, Ladies, and Seniors flight divisions will each receive prizes.
In addition to winner prizes, the Joeten Memorial Golf Classic will be offering prizes for hole-in-one, closest-to-the-pin, longest drive, and most accurate buy-ins.
The tournament will be followed by an awards lunch banquet and raffle. The raffle will have $1 and $5 tickets, and will include some great prizes.
Registration fee is $95 and forms are available at all Joeten locations, Ace Hardware, Joeten Superstore,The Athlete’s Foot, Boarderline, AllStar Sporting Goods, and Pacifica Insurance Underwriters. Completed forms can be turned in and paid at Joeten Motors Parts Department using cash, check, or credit card.
