Docomo Pacific donated $5,000 in cash and in-kind to Joeten’s charitable organization for the upcoming Joeten Memorial Golf Classic, a fundraiser golf tournament event scheduled for Nov, 9, 2013, at the Saipan Lao Lao Bay Golf Resort.
“It has been 15 years since Joeten’s last fundraising golf tournament, so we look forward to seeing this event come to fruition,” said Docomo Pacific general manager James Nelson. “We are confident that our donation will be put to good use.”
“We would like to thank Docomo Pacific for their support. Our success is dependent on generous donations such as this,” said JMGC chair Somia Quan.
There are four different sponsorship packages offered by the tournament committee: Founder’s Club ($5,000), Trustees’ Club ($2,500), Eagle Club ($1,000), and Friends of JCF ($999 and below).
The tournament will be a stroke play, low gross format. First, second, and third place winners in the Senior, A, B, C, and Ladies flight divisions will each receive prizes.
In addition to winner prizes, JMGC will be offering prizes for hole-in-one, closest-to-the-pin, longest drive, and most accurate buy-ins.
The tournament will be followed by an awards lunch banquet and raffle. The raffle will have $1 and $5 tickets and will include some great prizes.
Registration fee is $95 and forms are available at all major Joeten locations, Ace Hardware, Joeten Superstore, The Athlete’s Foot, Boarderline, AllStar Sporting Goods, and Pacifica Insurance Underwriters. Completed forms can be turned in and paid at Joeten Motors Parts Department using cash, check, or credit card.
