Oct. 21 to 27, 2013, is Grace Christian Academy’s Mission Convention Week, which has the theme “Beyond…so all can hear (2 Corinthians 10:16).”
The celebration kicked off with a parade participated by students from K3 to 12th grade. Each class chose a country that they will pray for.
The K-4 class prayed for the country of Ecuador, K-3 and K-5 classes combined to pray for the United States, the 1st grade class chose Mexico, the 2nd grade prayed for China, the 3rd grade chose New Zealand; 4th grade, Italy; 5th grade, England; 6th grade, Philippines; 7th grade, France; 8th grade, Japan; 9th grade, Korea; 10th grade, Greece; 11th grade, India; and 12th grade, Micronesia.
The Mission Convention Week includes Training and Teaching Nights on Oct. 22 and 23, during which the GCA family and the Krake family partner to learn more about ministering to children.
The GCA family will also have Community Outreaches on Oct. 25 and 26 at the San Antonio basketball court, Kagman Community Center, and Tanapag Beach Pavilion.
The celebration ends on Oct. 27 with the Mission Convention Sunday Service at the GCA Navy Hill Church. (PR)
