In light of the Veteran’s Day and festive Thanksgiving season, Hyatt Regency Saipan is announcing its efforts to give back and say thanks. On Nov. 5, 8, 15, and 22, 2013, Hyatt Regency pledges to donate proceeds during Marianas Barbecue nights at Kili Café and Terrace toward the CNMI Operation Homefront cause. The hotel has committed to purchasing the care package items and will assist in the packaging through its corporate responsibility platform, Hyatt Thrive.
Hyatt Regency Saipan is inviting island community members and leaders to join the hotel on Nov. 5, 2013, in an event to launch the “Fare. Share. Care.” initiative.
“The hotel’s intention is to make a difference in the lives of CNMI servicemen and their families we will positively affect,” said general manager Nick K. Nishikawa.
Sunset Beach Seafood Barbecue features live entertainment, succulent seafood, free-flowing Heineken beer and iced tea for $45 (valued at $53 per person) per person. Purchase a very special certificate to express your gratitude to friends and families that are members of the armed services for the many freedoms we now enjoy. This voucher may also be enjoyed by the guest that desires to support this humbling cause.
How to help
Helping the initiative is as simple as “Fare. Share. Care.” Visit Kili Café and Terrace on the dates of Nov. 8, 15, and 22, 2013, and indulge in island barbecue fare.
Be an advocate of goodwill to all servicemen by purchasing a gift voucher to express your gratitude and appreciation to any friends and families that are part of the armed force. Hyatt will share the proceeds and together, both guests and the hotel will help send care packages to CNMI servicemen. The vouchers may also be enjoyed by guests that desire to support this cause. For $30 per person (valued at $38) guests will be able to enjoy island favorites and juicy barbecue items, alongside free-flowing Miller Lite, wine and iced tea.
“We want our guests to enjoy what the hotel has to offer—exceptional service and delicious local fare, all while actively participating in this humbling cause,” said F&B director Tyrell Pauling.
Purchase gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are available in the following locations: PTC’s the Wine Cellar, Triple J Truck Load, Chalan Kanoa, All Hertz Rent-A-Car locations, and Hyatt Regency Saipan’s front desk and restaurant outlets.
The care package will include a collage of images of guests taken with a placard stating, “Hyatt Regency Saipan salutes CNMI servicemen.” This gesture will remind the local men and women in the military of the warmth and support the local community can extend, even from extreme distances.
CNMI Operation Homefront is a program created by several volunteers who gather once a year around Thanksgiving to give thanks to the CNMI servicemen for the many freedoms we enjoy today. The care packages include letters of support from school children, newspapers, magazines, postcards, T-shirts, local favorite packaged foods and other items that are unique to the islands. Special thanks to our event partners: Triple J and Pacific Trading Co. (Hyatt Regency Saipan)
