Fighters seeing action this Friday’s Trench Warz 17: Night of the Champions will have their weigh-in at GIG Discotheque tomorrow from 5pm to 7pm.
The weigh-in is for the three kickboxing matches and 11 MMA fights, including two title bouts. First up for the K1 offering is the 125-lb duel between Trench Tech’s Benjie Estoque and Guam Muay Thai’s Kyle “300” Martin. The two other K1 matches will feature Team D2S’ Jonathan “Outlaw” Camacho against Lenny “Machine Gun” Sablan at 135 lbs and Trench Tech’s Jasper “The Disaster” Van Der Maas versus independent fighter Jones Langu at 145 lbs.
For the opening MMA bout, Team D2S’ Kainoa Wanket will make his debut against another independent fighter Franklin Agulto at 135 lbs. In another 135-lb duel, Trench Tech’s T.J. Sablan will take on Tinian’s Paul Ayuyu, while Trench Warz returnees Allan “The Silver Buller” Aguon of Zalaka and Pwang’s Garry “Dissa” Ray will collide in the 125-lb fight.
The ensuing MMA bouts before the three highly anticipated fights this Friday will have Ben Flores meeting Giovanni “Palaxi” Sablan at 155 lbs; Trench Tech’s Vince Torres facing Marianas Elite’s John Tudela at 145 lb; Marianas Elite’s Vince “Sanity” Pua squaring off against Gracie Barra’s Jose “Young Blood” Ramirez at 160 lbs; Zalaka’ s Danny Cruz battling Spike 22’s Rob “Shiska”Alvarez at 145 lbs; and independent Tiger Yatsui dueling Ryan “Trtobz” Ngibabul at 220 lbs.
In the first title fight of the night, Zalaka’s Jordan “The Machine” Manglona will slug it out with Trench Tech’s Josh “Chaos” Duenas for the flyweight championship belt. In the second title bout, Trench Tech’s Mylo “Bam Bam” Lassiter will battle the heavyweight crown against Team Haga’s Neil “Lionheart” Taisacan.
Meanwhile, in between the two title fights, a Saipan versus Korea match will take place with Marianas Elite’s Derrick “El Peligro” Rangamar challenging Korean Top Team’s Kwan Ho Kwak.
