The Hustlers clinched the Thursday League championship after dominating the Poseidon 8Ballers in the last week’s finals, 9-3. In the other playoff game, Jokers Homeboyz edged SOS Alamo Car Rental, 9-5, to finish third. Alamo settled for fourth place, followed by Bammys Equalizers, Wild Bills Crazy8, Jonny’s Team SCS, and Jonny’s Gentlemen.

In the Tuesday League, Joe’s Saint Trading and Jokers IT&E Voyagers notched separate wins to arrange their showdown for the division title. Jokers IT&E Voyagers outclassed Oceanside Docomo Hustlers in the second semis match, 9-6, while Joe’s Saint Trading triumphed against Jonny’s Crazy8 in the first semis pairing, 9-4.
Joe’s Saint Trading and Jokers IT&E Voyagers were scheduled to duel for the Tuesday League championship last Dec. 10, while Oceanside Docomo Hustlers were set to meet Jonny’s Crazy8 for the third place.

Results in last week’s finals and battle for third in the Tuesday League will determine the pairings for the Budweiser Cup, which will kick off next week. In the Thursday League, the first four pairings have been set with the Drunker Hustlers taking on Poseidon 8Ballers, Jokers Homeboyz challenging Alamo, Bammys dueling Crazy 8, and Jonny’s Team SCS collding against Johnny’s Gentlemen. All first round games are slated for Dec. 19. (Roselyn B. Monroyo)
