Bank of Guam names winners of 2013 Christmas card contest
Anne Wen, St. John’s 8th grader, is featured artist

Second placer Nathaniel Hagans, Santa Barbara Catholic School, 8th Grade; first placer Anne Wen, St. John’s School, 9th Grade; third placer Ami Vice, Untalan Middle School, 6th Grade; and Bank of Guam president, chief executive officer, and board chair Lou A. Leon Guerrero. (BANK OF GUAM) HAGATNA, Guam—The Bank of Guam announced yesterday that the featured student artist on its 2013 Christmas Card is Anne Wen, an 8th grader from St. John’s School. Second place went to Nathaniel Hagans, an 8th grader from Santa Barbara Catholic School, and third place was awarded to Ami Vice, a 6th grader from Untalan Middle School.

The bank’s annual contest, in its seventh year, garnered 620 entries from 18 schools. With the theme, “Island Christmas Wish,” the first 500 entries received a complimentary Coldstone coupon redeemable for an ice cream scoop.

Anne Wen received a check for $250, while Nathaniel Hagans received a check for $175 and Ami Vice received a check for $100. Each of the three winners also received a school supply gift basket during the award presentation on Dec. 10, 2013. (BOG)
