A woman allegedly bit her boyfriend below the right nipple and chased him with a knife at their house in Lower Miha, Garapan on New Year’s Day.
Daisina Sherry Suda, 40, was arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, assault, and disturbing the peace. Her bail was set at $10,000 unsecured bond.
The alleged victim sustained a laceration below his right nipple.
Police detective Flora Danica B. Aguon stated in her report that two police officers were dispatched to Lower Miha on Wednesday at 11:02am for a reported domestic violence incident. She said the two officers came upon a shirtless and barefooted Bangladeshi man who was running on the roadway.
The man flagged down the police officers’ vehicle while pointing north.
The alleged victim claimed that his girlfriend, Suda, was chasing him with a knife. One officer walked toward Suda and told her to stop from getting closer to the alleged victim.
Suda stopped and explained that her boyfriend beat her up. The alleged victim, however, directed the attention of the officer to a silver kitchen knife that was on the ground that she allegedly threw at him. He also showed the officer his injury.
The boyfriend told police that he was resting inside the bedroom when Suda came and they had an argument. Suda allegedly bit the man below his right nipple so he pushed her away. She then grabbed a kitchen knife and allegedly told him she was going to kill him.
The man ran outside to seek help but Suda followed him and allegedly threw the knife at him but missed.
Another police officer arrived and procured the knife as evidence. Suda was then arrested.
Last September, Suda and her boyfriend were both arrested after engaging in a brawl at their house in Garapan.
