GTA TeleGuam has new board member

TAMUNING, Guam-GTA TeleGuam announced last week that Lourdes “Lou” A. Leon Guerrero is the newest member of its board of directors. Leon Guerrero joined the GTA TeleGuam board effective Feb. 1, 2008.

Dan Moffat, CEO and president of GTA TeleGuam said, “We are very pleased to welcome Lou to the GTA TeleGuam board. As a bank president and former senator, Lou brings solid local business expertise and a strong relationship with Guam that further strengthens GTA TeleGuam's commitment to the island.”

Leon Guerrero was born and raised on Guam. She is a graduate of California State University with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She also has a master's degree in Public Health from University of California at Los Angeles and is currently attending the University of Washington Pacific Coast Banking School.

Leon Guerrero is married to attorney Jeff Cook and together they have two children, Joaquin and Mariana.

Leon Guerrero joins fellow GTA TeleGuam board members Susan Eichor, Peter Gill, Dick Grimm, Warren Haruki, John Parkinson and Adm. Tom Fargo. In addition, Moffat and Shamrock investors Steve Royer and Will Wynperle serve on the GTA TeleGuam board.
