Ada Gymnasium. (Roselyn B. Monroyo) Jeff Cloud put on a show in the Art of War 4 All Island Grappling/Submissions Challenge 2009, topping two weight divisions on Saturday at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.

Cloud dethroned Art of War 3 heavyweight champion Kelvin “The Big Hit” Fitial when the Trench Tech fighter prevailed on points in their gold-medal match in the 201lbs. and above duel. Jacob Han took the bronze medal.

Cloud's second gold medal came in the middleweight class when he won via tapout against Tinian's Keli Manglona. Ron Chisato claimed the bronze medal in the 181lbs. to 200lbs. weight class.

Also bringing home two gold medals was Gracie Barra's Jess “Pumpy” Manglona, who dominated the bantamweight and featherweight divisions.

In the bantamweight division (100lbs-130lbs) finals, Manglona edged crowd favorite Shane “Pikaboo” Alvarez of Trench Tech on points. Gracie Barra's Paulo Sangalang settled for bronze after a victory via a tap-out over Jordan Ogo.

Manglona defeated another Trench Tech fighter in Chris "No Luv" Laayug in their gold-medal collision in the featherweight class (131lbs.-140lbs.).

The super lightweight (141lbs.-150lbs) finals was an all-Marianas Elite affair with Derik “El Peligro” Rangamar beating stablemate Maitai “The Charger” Charley. James Fleming of Trench Tech won the bronze medal.

The lightweight (151lbs-160lbs) gold medal went to Gracie Barra's Pat Alepuyo, who won via tapout against Guam's Brian Mendiola. Marianas Elite's Jerome Norita saved a bronze medal when he beat Max Kim on points.

Rusty Ada was the fourth Gracie Barra fighter to won a weight division when he outclassed Guam's Kinney Blas in the welterweight class (161lbs-180lbs) finals. Alepuyo also joined the welterweight division and finished third.

The Art of War 3 was organized by Trench Tech and served as a warm-up for Trench Warz 11 “Redemption,” which is scheduled for Dec. 18 at the Saipan World Resort.

Next month's event will feature Jason “Rush” Tarkong going up against heavy hitter Gil “The Guamaniac” Meno of Guam in one of the double main events for Trench Warz 11.
