Wife beats husband
A domestic incident in Chinatown attracted police attention when a man called for medical assistance over a laceration on arm, allegedly caused by his wife.
Gabriel Pangelinan Sablan complained to authorities Sunday that his wife allegedly bit him on the forearm area when he arrived home from a neighbor’s house that day.
The 50-year-old victim reportedly sustained injuries.
Records reveal that when authorities were trying to obtain a statement from the victim about the incident, the suspect, Catherine Billy, kept on tramping in and out of the house, allegedly continuing the physical abuse against her husband.
Police noted that Ms. Billy was uncooperative when authorities attempted to interview her.
She was then arrested for assault and battery charges.
Teens caught with ice in CK
Another group of teenagers were booked to the juvenile detention for illegal possession of controlled substances over the weekend, police reported.
Koban police officers in search for a truant Saturday came across the three boys hanging out at the Bolis R Us store in Chalan Kanoa across the public elementary school, according to Department of Public Safety spokesperson Cecil Celes.
The suspects were a couple of 12, 13, and 17-year-olds.
When police approached them to inquire of the whereabouts of another teenager they were searching for, the kids ran away from authorities.
Suspicious, police then followed them by the housing area and frisked them one by one.
The juveniles were then found in possession of controlled substances which was later identified to be ice or marijuana.
The suspects were transported to the Criminal Investigation Bureau for questioning, where they admitted that the illegal drugs belonged to them.
They were arrested for the offense.
