STA to elect new officers Saturday

The Saipan Tennis Association will be holding a general membership meeting tomorrow, June 19, 6:30pm at the American Memorial Park tennis courts.

The upcoming general membership meeting will be important because members would be asked to choose their new officers for calendar year 2004-2005. The tenure of STA’s current set of officers expires at the end of this month, June 30.

Positions open for re-election are president, vice president-internal and vice president-external, secretary, treasurer, auditor, PRO, and five board members.

The local tennis association’s current list of officers are: Roy Pangelinan (president); Nelia Luna (vice president-internal); Dr. Alberto Ventura (vice president-external); Ligaya Paculanang (treasurer); Ricky B. Castro (secretary); Arnold Cerdenio (auditor); Dr. Mohammad Ashraf and Delia Johnson (PRO); Young Son, Robert Caracero, Alex Martin, Buddy Garote, and Felipe Quiroz (board of directors); and Feel Kalen, Dencio Daquioag, Benju Rectitud, and Regalado (tournament directors).
