Finance reminds agencies of purchasing guidelines

The Department of Finance would like to remind all government agencies of the importance of accurate and timely processing and management of requisition entries, purchase orders, change orders, contract entries, and direct invoices related to utilities, fuel, and communications.

Departments are expected to follow these guidelines on a monthly basis. Effective monitoring and management of these processes is critical for ensuring timely fiscal year-end closing procedures, and following the guidelines helps to prepare for the year-end closing each year.
