\u201cIt was not all flesh. Some walked without really flaunting their fronts, but it\u2019s okay. I think the theme is still captured,\u201d said one female guest.<\/p>\n
Aqua Resort\u2019s all-male review, which featured its male staff in Greek gods and heroes costumes, was part of the lunch program held at the Raraina and Costa Terrace Restaurants in observance of the Administrative Professional\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think people like it,\u201d said a cheerful Yoshimi Yanagisawa, ARC Food & Beverage sales manager.<\/p>\n
She said the show was a team effort, citing that the entire program was produced and directed by the F&B team.<\/p>\n
\u201cEven the decoration, the stage, music, everything. It\u2019s all our people working together,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Manny Barcial, Food & Beverage director, said yesterday\u2019s production was a deviation from previous years\u2019 shows.<\/p>\n
\u201cSince 1995, we had been holding fashion shows. It\u2019s about time to do something different now,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
He recalled that ARC used to invite NMI pageant beauties to model during the occasion. \u201cBut they\u2019re usually busy and it\u2019s hard to gather them all at one time, so we decided to feature our own staff instead,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Yesterday, ARC set up two platforms\u2014a main stage at Raraina and a smaller stage at Costa Terrace\u2014for models to walk on.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe want to bring it closer to everybody,\u201d said Barcial. <\/p>\n
Equal Fusion, a local dance group, also performed in yesterday\u2019s event.<\/p>\n
Meantime, about 12 guests won special prizes during a raffle drawing held during the occasion.<\/p>\n
ARC gave away gifts from DFS, Budget Car Rental, and PTI.<\/p>\n
The grand prize\u2014an overnight stay for two at Aqua Resort worth $290\u2014went to a staff from the Superior Court.<\/p>\n
