Ada Gymnasium in Oleai after being moved to Sunday a week ago.<\/p>\n<p>Division of Sports and Recreation staff Elias Rangamar said badminton returns to its Saturday schedule beginning at 4pm tomorrow following the Basketball Association of the Northern Mariana Islands&#8217; decision to play the 4th Annual Budweiser Cup BANMI Men&#8217;s Basketball League and the BANMI Women&#8217;s Basketball League this Sunday, April 30.<\/p>\n<p>Badminton and BANMI will follow the same schedule next week, May 6 and 7, with the latter taking the Saturday schedule and the former occupying the Sunday schedule at the Oleai Sports Complex venue.<\/p>\n<p>In related news, badminton players are being encouraged to adopt scoring in their games to quicken the pace of turnover on the courts&#8217; use. <\/p>\n<p>Matches between men should be a best-of-three affair and up to 15 points, while matches between women are only up to 11. Mixed doubles are up to 15 points.<\/p>\n<p>Badminton players regularly play at the gym from 7:30am to 10:30am on weekdays. DSR charges $1 per day per player for the use of the facility&#8217;s lights. Regular badminton players are also in the process of setting up their organization.
