The U.S. Navy held its recruit graduation ceremony on April 14, 2006, for Division 132 out of the Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Illinois. Among the proud sailors that graduated that day included Seaman Eric C. Leon Guerrero.<\/p>\n
Seaman Leon Guerrero is the son of Juan A. and Juana C. Leon Guerrero of Saipan. <\/p>\n
Leon Guerrero, a recent graduate of Marianas High School, successfully completed the U.S. Navy\u2019s basic recruit and Naval warfare training. Undergoing weeks of extensive training, Leon Guerrero endured the rite-of-passage in becoming a sailor in the nation\u2019s modern Navy.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn times of uncertainty and the on-going global war on terrorism, I congratulate and honor\u2026Leon Guerrero in choosing the path and completing training in the U.S. Navy. [He], along with the hundreds of soldiers and sailors from the Northern Marianas currently serving at home and abroad, have become America\u2019s model of volunteerism and patriotism,\u201d said Washington Rep.
