Leon Guerrero, vice president and loan center manager Mike W. Naholowaa, and vice president and CNMI regional manager Marcie M. Tomokane presented MGOC vice chairman Rex Palacios with a $10,000 check yesterday in the conference room of the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe bank has always been a sponsor of various events in the community. It\u2019s the community that helped the bank grow to where we are today and this is just a token of our appreciation for all of the business they\u2019ve done through us,\u201d said D. Leon Guerrero.<\/p>\n<p>Palacios was pleased with the donation and said that the Bank of Guam\u2019s generosity came as no surprise because of their consistent commitment to the Micronesian community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBank of Guam has been a bank here since the 1970s, as far as I can remember and they\u2019ve always been very responsive to fundraising requests. The Guerrero family has always been very generous to the sports community on Guam and like Bill [D. Leon Guerrero] said, this is just their way of saying how grateful they are to the people of Saipan for patronizing their bank. It works both ways.
