Ordillano and counsel entered a plea agreement with the government and pleaded guilty to assault and battery.<\/p>\n<p>Superior Court associate judge David A. Wiseman accepted Ordillano plea and sentenced him to one year in prison.<\/p>\n<p>Following the agreement, Wiseman said the sentence shall run concurrently with the sentence imposed on Ordillano in the attempted murder case.<\/p>\n<p>This means that the defendant will serve the one-year sentence within the 15 years he has been serving for the previous case.<\/p>\n<p>Ordillano and Gerald C. Sablan were charged with assault and battery for assaulting Francisco A. Pua at the Department of Corrections on Jan. 16, 2006.<\/p>\n<p>Ordillano entered a plea agreement. The trial of Sablan was set for Dec. 4, 2006.<\/p>\n<p>The Attorney General\u2019s Office originally charged the two defendants with assault and battery, and assault with a dangerous weapon.<\/p>\n<p>The AGO alleged that the defendants punched Pua in the face. They also allegedly struck Pua in the head using a metal object.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, Superior Court associate judge Juan T. Lizama imposed a 50-year prison sentence Pua for the murder of a poker attendant in Tanapag in 2002.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, Ordillano and Sablan were convicted in the kidnapping and attempted murder of gas attendant Marvin Mendiola on Aug. 5, 2005.<\/p>\n<p>Ordillano, who entered a guilty plea, was sentenced to 15 years without parole.
