{"id":121148,"date":"2008-03-25T18:50:00","date_gmt":"2008-03-25T18:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/af712d12-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2008-03-25T18:50:00","modified_gmt":"2008-03-25T18:50:00","slug":"af712d23-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/af712d23-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"CPA to host aviation workshop"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Commonwealth Ports Authority will be hosting the 2008 Pacific Aviation Directors\u2019 Workshop from March 31 to April 2, at the Fiesta Resort and Spa Saipan. <\/p>\n<p>The workshop is a three-day event with Federal Aviation Administration officials and dignitaries from all over the U.S. and Hawaii as well as members from airport communities throughout the Pacific islands. <\/p>\n<p>This workshop is funded and sponsored by the FAA and CPA. <\/p>\n<p>The theme for the workshop is &#8220;Planning for Aviation Growth and Infrastructure Development in Partnership with Government and Industry&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Topics for discussion include air traffic, risk management systems, flight procedures and standards, as well as other airport related topics involving weather service, funding opportunities and airport emergency procedures. <\/p>\n<p>Invited speakers will also provide reports on the much anticipated military buildup in Guam.<\/p>\n<p>For information about the workshop contact the CPA Administration Office at 664-3500\/01, fax number 234-5962 or email at cpa.admin@pticom.com.
