The new family housing will serve as replacements to the current homes that were built in the 1950s.<\/p>\n<p>Black Construction Corp. was awarded the $42.1 million project, which is scheduled to be completed in May 2009. The contract was awarded in August 2007.<\/p>\n<p>The homes will boast energy efficient air-conditioning units, covered patios, private fencing and additional storage spaces, among other features. The housing area will include playgrounds, jogging and bike trails, and a picnic area.
