With their 42-game winning streak and bid for another undefeated season broken last week, the SaipanCell Patriots vented their frustration on the Wells Fargo-As Matuis Twins Wednesday afternoon.<\/p>\n
The Twins, playing their first game after suffering a 1-2 loss to the Happy Market\/L&Y Corp. Ol\u2019Aces last March 16, went on a hitting spree to cruise to a 16-0 blanking of the Twins at the Miguel Basa \u201cTan Ge\u201d Pangelinan Field.<\/p>\n
The win improved the Patriots\u2019 record to 4-1 behind the 5-0 slates of the Bank of Saipan Red Sox and Ol\u2019Aces. The Patriots now join the Pacific Islands Club\/Deloitte&Touche San Antonio Dragons and National Office Supply Survivors from third to fifth place in the 16-team field. The loss dropped the Twins\u2019 record to 3-2.<\/p>\n
Cousins Jeremy, who was a single short of making the cycle, and Jun Rabauliman led the Patriots hitting spree as they each had a home run in the game.<\/p>\n
Jeremy went 3-for-3 with three runs, a double, a triple, and four RBIs. He had a two-RBI triple in the Patriots\u2019 10-run first inning then blasted a two-run home run in the bottom of the second.<\/p>\n
Jun went 1-for-3 with a run scored and three RBIs. He belted a three-run inside-the-park home run in the first inning where the Patriots broke the game wide open.<\/p>\n
Jose Lizama, 1-for-1, had an RBI triple and scored one run also for the Patriots.<\/p>\n
Chris Mizer had his second start for the Patriots and lasted only two innings, giving up one hit with five strikeouts and a walk. Jared Sablan pitched .2 innings in relief with no hits, a strikeout, and one walk.<\/p>\n
Brandon Philip closed out for the Patriots, 1.1 innings, with no hits, three strikeouts, and two walks.<\/p>\n
Mizer, Sablan, and Philip held the Twins to a combined 0-for-13 in batting.<\/p>\n

Aztecs 5, Jets 4[\/B]<\/p>\n
Pitchers Lawrence Dikito and Nicolas San Nicolas limited the JET Holdings Jets to a combined 5-for-25 in batting to lead the UMDA Aztecs in a 5-4 win on Monday, March 24.<\/p>\n
Dikito pitched for two innings and was tagged with four hits with a strikeout and two walks, while San Nicolas pitched five innings in relief allowing no hits with eight strikeouts and one walk.<\/p>\n
Dikito also went 2-for-4 with one run, while San Nicolas went 1-for-4 with one run scored and an RBI-double.<\/p>\n
