With only last night\u2019s game left to be played, SaipanCell Hustlers are already assured of the championship of the Budweiser SBA Open 8-Ball League with an 11-game lead over closest pursuer Jonny\u2019s Destroyers.<\/p>\n
The Hustlers made it official last April 22 when it hacked out a convincing 6-1 victory over Coral Reef Shark Attacks that upped its record to 78-20.<\/p>\n
While Jonny\u2019s Destroyers kept pace with a similar 6-1 domination of Wild Bill\u2019s Sniper last week, it was hoping for a Coral Reef route of the Hustlers as its 67-31 win-loss record is still a long way from overtaking the pacesetters.<\/p>\n
A silver lining for Jonny\u2019s Destroyers though is its 6-1 win allowed it to overtake erstwhile second-placer Porky\u2019s Extremist when the latter only managed to squeak past Len\u2019s 5 Bad Boyz, 4-3, two Tuesdays ago.<\/p>\n
The near escape gave Porky\u2019s Extremist a 66-32 record, a game back of Jonny\u2019s Destroyers.<\/p>\n
Other results last April 22 saw Wild Wild West (65-33) sweep Godfather\u2019s Magas (42-56), USSP Fotten Palau (57-41) score a similar 7-0 win over Mr. Wonderful Shooters (46-52), USSP Wat-Ever (44-54) skunk a listless VFW Warriors (18-80), and Perfect Spotter (40-58) score a 6-1 win over Coral Reef Barracuda (29-69).<\/p>\n
Coral Reef Shark Attack, Len\u2019s 5 Bad Boyz, and Wild Bill\u2019s Sniper currently sport 56-42, 52-46, and 38-60 records, respectively.<\/p>\n
Pacific Amusement, the same company that runs the leagues of the Saipan Electronic Darts Association, organizes the Budweiser SBA Open 8-Ball League. <\/p>\n
