{"id":12269,"date":"2011-11-26T08:39:55","date_gmt":"2011-11-26T08:39:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newspaper.ctsi-logistics.com\/?p=12269"},"modified":"2011-11-26T08:39:55","modified_gmt":"2011-11-26T08:39:55","slug":"man-arrested-for-alleged-rape-attempt-on-sis-in-law","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/man-arrested-for-alleged-rape-attempt-on-sis-in-law\/","title":{"rendered":"Man arrested for alleged rape attempt on sis-in-law"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>By Ferdie de la Torre<br \/>\nReporter<\/div>\n<p>Police arrested a 53-year-old man who allegedly attempted to rape his 55-year-old sister-in-law and assaulted her at her residence in Kagman on Thursday night.<\/p>\n<p>Robostiano Rull Matsutaro was arrested yesterday morning at his residence in Kagman 3 for attempted rape, disturbing the peace, and assault and battery.<\/p>\n<p>Superior Court associate judge Joseph James Norita Camacho imposed a $26,250 cash bail for Matsutaro&#8217;s temporary release.<\/p>\n<p>Detective Raymond Borja, who took the witness stand, said that police officers responded to the victim&#8217;s residence in Kagman after receiving a call about the attempted rape on Thursday at 11:06pm.<\/p>\n<p>Preliminary investigation showed that the victim told responding officers that her brother-in-law, Matsutaro, attempted to rape her and assaulted her in the process. The victim reportedly had bruises and scratches on her thighs.<\/p>\n<p>The victim told police that she was in bed when a man she later identified as Matsutaro sat on top of her and tried to rape her. The victim struggled, shouted, and screamed.
