USS Peleliu Club is hoping to revive the sport when it hosts a slew of pool competitions beginning this week. <\/p>\n
The Garapan watering hole and sports bar will be organizing three different tournaments every week. <\/p>\n
Monday is for the 8-ball \u201cPool Challenge,\u201d with a $1 per game charge for challengers where winners pocket the money and hold the table. It can be played with as few as five entrants. <\/p>\n
Tuesday\u2019s competition, meanwhile, features a single-elimination 9-ball tournament with a $5 entry fee. The first competitor to win three games advances in the bracket. <\/p>\n
\u201cA\u201d players, as determined by management, will have to win four games to advance. <\/p>\n
Last but not the least, Wednesday is reserved for the always in-demand double elimination 8-ball tournament. <\/p>\n
Players have at least two chances to advance for only $5. <\/p>\n
The start time for all three weekly pool tournaments is at 8pm with happy hour prices for both players and spectators until 2pm. <\/p>\n
