The CNMI Women\u2019s Golf Association August Ace of the Month Tournament will be held this Saturday, Aug. 9, at the Laolao Bay Golf Resort.<\/p>\n
According to the club\u2019s secretary Lorraine Babauta, show time is set at 11:30am and tee time is scheduled an hour later at 12:30pm. <\/p>\n
Established in March 2007, CWGA is a nonprofit organization founded to promote, encourage, and introduce women to the sport of golf in the CNMI.<\/p>\n
The organization intends to accomplish the following: 1. Promote civic and community interest in golf; 2. Establish and encourage competition and good sportsmanship; 3. Promote and provide social functions of the members and their families; 4. Promote youth golf activities; and 5. To do any or all things necessary and proper to accomplish its purpose and intention.<\/p>\n
CWGA also commits its members to abide by a set of values that will further enrich a golfer\u2019s performance, attitude, and conduct-adopted form the USA Junior Golf Association.<\/p>\n
