Correspondingly, Top Pool Bar will award $80 and $50 for second and third placers, respectively.

Like previous competitions at Top Pool Bar, players can warm up and practice for free before the 8pm start of the 8-ball tournament.

For more information on the Top Pool Bar’s Saturday 8-ball tournament, call Zheng at 287-7676 or check out the competition’s website at www.saipanero.com/bars/toppoolbar.

Top Pool Bar, located along Hotel Street Garapan a stone’s throw away from the Paseo de Marianas, is as spacious as it is modern and boasts of two 9-1/2-by-5-foot tables usually found in professional tournaments abroad.

While its $1,000 big money tournament last Saturday had a lukewarm response, Top Pool Bar is hoping to have more success with the return of its weekly 8-ball competition starting this Aug. 30 at the Garapan watering hole and sports bar.

[4

post-125707","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-local-news
["GET
