{"id":126311,"date":"2008-09-17T20:15:00","date_gmt":"2008-09-17T20:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/b15ed58e-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2008-09-17T20:15:00","modified_gmt":"2008-09-17T20:15:00","slug":"b15ed59f-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/b15ed59f-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"Club 200 tickets on sale now"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ticket sales for the Red Cross\u2019s 20th annual Club 200 event are underway. <\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s event, slated for Oct. 25 from 5pm to 10pm at the Hyatt Regency Saipan, will have a Halloween theme.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve got some great ideas in store: spider webs, a haunted house, just kind of fun things,\u201d said John Hirsh, executive director for CNMI\u2019s Red Cross Chapter.<\/p>\n<p>The $100 per person tickets can be bought at the Red Cross office up until 12pm on Oct. 25 or at the door. A \u201cweb of ticket sellers\u201d is also selling tickets through the island.  <\/p>\n<p>Guests can dress up for the event, although they are not required to do so, Hirsh said. <\/p>\n<p>There will be a costume contest and musician Willie K from Hawaii will perform.<\/p>\n<p>The Red Cross will raffle off $20,000 at the event, an increase of $5,000 from last year\u2019s raffle, to coincide with the 20th anniversary.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe know people could really use that money in these hard economic times,\u201d Hirsh said.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, Hirsh said, he hopes people remember the event is for a good cause.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is our signature fundraiser,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s a critical part of our ability to operate the Red Cross in our community.
