{"id":126313,"date":"2008-09-17T20:19:00","date_gmt":"2008-09-17T20:19:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/b15ed7a9-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2008-09-17T20:19:00","modified_gmt":"2008-09-17T20:19:00","slug":"b15ed7ba-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/b15ed7ba-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"Saipan Stevedore rules \u2018Bowling Fun Day\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Saipan Stevedore topped the \u2018Bowling Fun Day\u201d organized by the Marianas Institute of Filipino CPAs and Accountants at the Capital Bowling Center in Garapan last Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Saipan Stevedore bested 13 other teams in the one-day tournament, which aimed to bring together members and non-members of the organization and promote camaraderie through sports.<\/p>\n<p>More than 60 accountants and auditors from various companies on Saipan joined the tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Saipan Stevedore took the championship after scoring 2,310 pinfalls. Members of the winning team were Christy Villaflor, Joy and Toti Limpin, Antonio Verdaguer, and Linda Yarobwenal. They went home with $250 cash.<\/p>\n<p>In second place was Century Insurance Company, Ltd.,  which knocked down 1,984 pins, followed by Genoveva\u2019s (1,963), J\u2019s Restaurant (1,943), Deloitte &#038; Touche (1,935), PTI (1,838), Eli (1,811), Shirley\u2019s Coffee Shop (1,799), Traders Insurance (1,787), PT (1770), Century Finance Corp. (1,671), Ernst &#038; Young (1,753), and Seabridge (1,587).<\/p>\n<p>CIC was composed of team captain Rene Cariazo, Gerry De Guzman, Gary Ting, Macoi Aguda, and Carlito Bernabe and won $150.<\/p>\n<p>Genoveva\u2019s, which was captained by Tony David and had Robert Reyes, Danny Baddiles, Gigi Zapanta, and Malou Guzman as members, pocketed $100.<\/p>\n<p>The Ronnel Calma-captained J\u2019s Restaurant won $75. Other members of the team were Reena Trinidad, Miriam Cabading, Robert Perez, Nel Matanguihan, Donna Paleracio, and Yaro Buena.<\/p>\n<p>Deloitte &#038; Touche, which was led by captain Yho Villavicencio, pocketed $60.
