The Superior Court has imposed a one-year prison term on a man who repeatedly stabbed a teenager with a knife during a fight outside a house in Kagman.<\/p>\n
Associate Judge David A. Wiseman sentenced Eddie Ngirngesang to three years in prison, all suspended except for 12 months, for aggravated assault and battery.<\/p>\n
Following a plea agreement, Wiseman gave the 23-year-old Ngirngesang credit for the one year he had already served in jail.<\/p>\n
The defendant was placed under five years of supervised probation.<\/p>\n
The judge ordered the defendant to pay $2,626.48 in restitution for medical bills incurred by the victim, Christopher Doses Kin.<\/p>\n
Ngirngesang was also directed to pay a $500 fine, $125 in court assessment fee plus probation fee. In addition he was required to perform 120 hours of community service and write a letter of apology to the victim.<\/p>\n
The defendant signed a plea agreement and pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and battery. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
