Team Sakudi\u2019s Pauline Tudela is currently leading the batting category in the ongoing 2008 Belau Amateur Softball Association women\u2019s league.<\/p>\n
After nine games each for the five teams competing in the regular season, Tudela hit 15-for-24 at bat for her leading average of .625.<\/p>\n
Her team, Sakudi, is currently tied with the Hitters with their identical 8-1 win-loss records. The other teams are Ohn Sakau (4-5), Esta Ombe (3-6), and Atu\u2019Asi (2-7).<\/p>\n
The statistics of the Top 10 batting leaders were based on 19 or more at-bats.<\/p>\n
Three players have identical .600 averages, including Tudela\u2019s teammate Bert Camacho.<\/p>\n
Camacho hit 15-for-25 while Kuki Pangelinan of Atu Asi and Merselyn Santos of Ohn Sakau came-up with similar record of 12-for-20.<\/p>\n
Camacho is the leader in runs scored with 16 while Palacios and Tudela had 13 and Kayla Techur (11).<\/p>\n

In homeruns, Melissa Benjamin and Polly Omechelang had two each. while eight players are tied for one each.<\/p>\n
Santos and Norita are the leaders in RBIs with 11 each, Palacios and Tudela have 10.<\/p>\n
In the battle on the mound, Sakudi\u2019s Bego Camacho leads with a 2.15 earned run average.<\/p>\n
In four games, Camacho pitched 26 innings, allowing only 11 runs (eight ERA) on 32 hits.<\/p>\n
Felisa Brel of the Hitters is second with her 3.50 ERA, while another Sakudi player, Charlene Cabrera, is third with 4.03 ERA.<\/p>\n
Rounding out the Top 6 were Dolorina Panuelo of Ohn Sakau (4.27 ERA), Polly Omechelang of Esta Ombe (8.65 ERA), and Meng Yamada of Atu Asi (13.32 ERA).<\/p>\n
