David<br \/>\nReporter<\/div>\n<p>A total of 55 community members availed of the free services offered at the medical mission hosted by the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ 4th Watch last month.<\/p>\n<p>Church spokesperson Ronnie Doca said the medical mission, held at their San Jose church grounds on Sept. 25, saw 39 individuals who got free blood sugar screening; 38 for blood pressure; 26 for free haircut; 22 for counseling; 18 for reflexology; and 13 each for facial massage and eye check up.<\/p>\n<p>Doca said the services were provided by volunteers from Marianas Eye Institute, the Northern Marianas College Nursing Club, Tropical Blend Salon, and other church volunteers.<\/p>\n<p>Sponsors for the medical mission were Seventh-Day Adventist Clinic, Transamerica, Tan Holdings, and Kevin\u2019s Department Store.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo all volunteers and to all our sponsors, I simply want to thank all of you for your untiring support during the whole year of our medical mission and I will be expecting you next year for another round of community service for all the people of the CNMI,\u201d Doca told Saipan Tribune.<\/p>\n<p>Doca said their church will be celebrating their 12th anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 2.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Clarissa V.
