{"id":128881,"date":"2008-12-15T21:41:00","date_gmt":"2008-12-15T21:41:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/b2bc4b8a-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2008-12-15T21:41:00","modified_gmt":"2008-12-15T21:41:00","slug":"b2bc4ba1-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/b2bc4ba1-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"Women\u2019s league has same batting, pitching leaders"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bert and Bego Camacho strengthened their hold on the No. 1 spot in the batting and pitching race after five game games in the women\u2019s division of the Budweiser 2008 Inter-Government\/Business Softball League.<\/p>\n<p>Bert Camacho, of defending champion Department of Community and Cultural Affairs, kept the top spot in the batting competition with her average of .700 after going 14-for-20.<\/p>\n<p>Teammate Doris Camacho is still in second place with her batting average of .672 (9-for-13), followed by Finance\u2019s Liz Lebria (.667), DCCA\u2019s Antonette Laniyo (.647), and Finance\u2019s Bego Camacho (.588).<\/p>\n<p>Rounding of the Top 10 were NMC\u2019s Angela Ngirbedul (.563), CUC\u2019s Evelyn Kani (.563), DCCA\u2019s Jennifer Teigita (.563), CHC\u2019s Mercelyn Santos and Sheena Sablan (.545), CHC\u2019s Shirley Ada (.538), NMC\u2019s Kuki Pangelinan (.526), Finance\u2019s Lilian Pangelinan (.500), NMC\u2019s Pauline Camacho (.500), and CUC\u2019s Roquita Norita (.500).<\/p>\n<p>Batting leaders were based on 10 or more times at-bat.<\/p>\n<p>Bert Camacho had recorded the most runs after five games with her 13, Jenny Palacios had the most doubles with two, Kani had the most triples with two, and Ngirbedul posted the most homers and RBIs with two and eight, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Bego Camacho tallied a 2.97 ERA to lead five other pitchers.
