Ada Gymnasium to discuss the calendar of events for this year.<\/p>\n<p>SML\u2019s Tony Rogolifoi said the meeting is set for 7pm.<\/p>\n<p>Agenda will include the opening of the 2009 Budweiser SML and upcoming tournaments in Guam.<\/p>\n<p>The 2008 season of the SML saw Rock Steady (formerly Bud Kings) outlast the Ford Rangers in the most stretched out championship series in the history of the league.<\/p>\n<p>The title series was only a best-of-five affair, but it took Rock Steady and the Ford Rangers almost three weeks to wrap up the finals due to the uncooperative weather and the rolling power outages then.<\/p>\n<p>Rock Steady won the series after sweeping the last two games. The eventual 2008 champion lost Game 1 and 3 and won Game 2 via forfeit when the Rangers failed to bring enough players at the resumption of the power outage-halted match at the Francisco \u201cTan Ko\u201d Palacios Ballfield.<\/p>\n<p>Besides the local league, SML is expected to discuss preparations for the 2008 Masters Baseball Tournament, which Guam will be hosting.<\/p>\n<p>The Masters tournament in Guam will also feature teams from the Philippines and Hawaii, and possibly Australia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Saipan Major League will be holding an organizational meeting tonight at the conference room of the Gilbert C.
