Sold by Microl Corp., 178 Toyota cars, 15 trucks, 12 vans, and 164 sports utility vehicles were sold in the period from January-December 2007.<\/p>\n
Saipan drivers, meanwhile, drove off with 35 cars, 17 trucks, one van, and 29 SUVs made by Nissan last year. Joeten Motors distributes Nissan locally.<\/p>\n
Mazda automobiles sold by Triple J Motors, meanwhile, were broken down as follows: 37 cars, seven trucks, four vans, and 10 SUVs.<\/p>\n
Other makes of cars sold in 2008, with the number of units sold, are the following: Ford (45), Honda (41), Hyundai (31), Kia (24), Mitsubishi (20), Chevrolet (14), Blue Bird (6), and Suzuki (5).<\/p>\n

In all, CADA experienced a 5.85-percent decrease in new car sales in 2008 as it sold 595 units compared to 632 in 2007.<\/p>\n
In related news, the Commonwealth Auto Dealers Association also sold a total of 371 used cars last year. Microl Corp. sold the most second-hand units with 141, followed by Joeten Motors with 122, and Triple J Motors with 108.<\/p>\n
