The Superior Court has slapped a two-year prison term on a man who was caught in the act of burglarizing a house in Koblerville.<\/p>\n
Associate Judge Ramona V. Manglona sentenced George Aldan Aguon to five years in prison, all suspended except for 24 months, for burglary.<\/p>\n
Following a plea agreement, Manglona gave the 55-year-old Aguon credit for the time he has already served in jail since May 23, 2008.<\/p>\n
Aguon is expected to complete his prison term at the Department of Corrections on May 23, 2010.<\/p>\n
Aguon will be placed on three years probation, be required to perform 100 hours of community service, and pay a $100 fine.<\/p>\n
Aguon signed a plea agreement with the government. He pleaded guilty to burglary.<\/p>\n
In return, government lawyer Joseph Przyuski agreed to dismiss the theft charge. He also agreed to withdraw the government\u2019s motion to revoke the defendant\u2019s probation.<\/p>\n
On May 23, 2008, at 12:25pm, police received a report of an ongoing burglary and theft incident at the residence of Won Hee Oh Kang in Koblerville.<\/p>\n
Kang\u2019s local neighbors helped police in arresting Aguon, who came out from the house\u2019s back door.<\/p>\n
