Eugenio<br \/>\nReporter<\/div>\n<p>The Senate confirmed yesterday two of Gov. Benigno R. Fitial&#8217;s appointees to serve on the Commonwealth Development Authority&#8217;s board of directors, paving the way for CDA board to act on important projects.<\/p>\n<p>During a session, senators confirmed Tom Glen Quitugua and Edwin P. Aldan to serve on the CDA board.<\/p>\n<p>Quitugua represents Rota on the board, and his term will expire on April 21, 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Aldan, representing Tinian, will serve Nathan Quichocho\u2019s remaining term on the CDA board that will expire on July 8, 2014.<\/p>\n<p>After senators confirmed the two, Senate President Paul Manglona (Ind-Rota) wrote a letter to he governor of the Senate&#8217;s decision.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUpon review of the nominations, the Senate is confident that they will carry out their responsibilities with distinction and to the best of their abilities,\u201d Manglona told the governor.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Haidee V.
