(Contributed Photo)\" width=\"100\" height=\"60\" border=\"0\" \/>\u00a0Oleai Beach Bar &amp; Grill&#8217;s Celebrity gained a game on A Division frontrunner Mixed Blood Shooters 1, of D&#8217;Pirates Bar &amp; Grill, after the conclusion of last Monday&#8217;s Saipan Electronic Dart Association matchups.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, D&#8217;Pirates&#8217; Try Luck was upset by Joe&#8217;s Bar &amp; Grill&#8217;s Just Like That, 7-8, in the Ladies League, but remained in firm control over the field.<\/p>\n<p>Celebrity came from behind to best the Trouble Shooters (58-78), 9-8, on the road at Wild Bill&#8217;s Bar &amp; Grill and pulled within a game behind top-ranked Mixed Blood 1 with an overall win-loss record of 82-54.<\/p>\n<p>Celebrity fell behind early, 1-5, but recovered by sweeping all four singles sniper matches. As both teams traded wins back and forth the game came down to the final Team 1001 Cherry In\/Double 1 Out.<\/p>\n<p>Mixed Blood 1 endured an upset at home to Naked Fish Bar &amp; Grill&#8217;s Naked Fish Boyz (67-69), 8-9.<\/p>\n<p>In other results, D&#8217;Pirates&#8217; Bud Brothers (81-55) downed sister team Predators (69-67), 13-4, in an away draw; Oleai Proofers (71-65) defeated sister team Primos (53-83), 10-7, in a home draw; and Ali&#8217;i Kamote&#8217;s (69-67) dropped Bar Gaia&#8217;s Gaiana-A, 13-4, at home.<\/p>\n<p>Notably, Bud Brothers&#8217; Romuel Chavez marked a 160 High In and Naked Fish Boyz&#8217;s James Tudela posted a 117 High Out.<\/p>\n<p>Try Luck endured its first loss of the season, but still holds a stout 14-game lead over its nearest rival with a 97-23 slate.<\/p>\n<p>Third-ranked Just Like That improved to a 59-61 record.<\/p>\n<p>Second fiddle, Man Amigas (83-37) gained some ground from a swift 12-3 victory over Jonny&#8217;s Bar 7 Grill&#8217;s Island Girls (46-74) at home in Oleai; and Joe&#8217;s Daffodils (37-83) blossomed to a 11-4 rout of D&#8217;Pirates Star magic (38-82), on the road and almost passed its rival out of last place.<\/p>\n<p>Notables include a 152 High In by Man-Amigas&#8217; Rita Fitial and a 118 High Out by Try Luck&#8217;s Aida Laniyo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Team CUC keeps lead<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the Inter-Government League, Jonny&#8217;s Bar &amp; Grill&#8217;s Team CUC maintained the top spot after Friday&#8217;s matchups.<\/p>\n<p>Team CUC brushed off sister team NMC Proa (25-80), 10-5, in a road draw at Jonny&#8217;s to improve to 77-28.<\/p>\n<p>Second place AG&#8217;s Sakude! edged sister team DYS Atdit (63-42), 8-7, in an away draw at Oleai Beach Bar &amp; Grill; Sakude trails CUC by eight games.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Wild Bill&#8217;s Bar &amp; Grill&#8217;s DPW Troubleshooters (39-66) upset Jonny&#8217;s DPS Enforcers (42-63), 10-5, on the road.<\/p>\n<p>Notables include a 160 High In by Sakude&#8217;s Jayson John and a 170 High out by DYS Atdit&#8217;s Julian Camacho.<\/p>\n<p>The season continues this Friday with Team CUC visiting DYS Atdit at Jonny&#8217;s; Sakude hosting the Enforcers at Oleai; and the Troubleshooters welcoming NMC Proa at Wild Bill&#8217;s.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Walter J.
