Good news for salad lovers! McDonald\u2019s Saipan is once again offering its popular Asian Salad, a healthy, colorful, and balanced menu choice at an affordable value, for a limited time only. <\/p>\n
McDonald\u2019s Asian Salad is a blend of fresh vegetables that include premium greens, tender edamame, crisp snow peas, thinly sliced carrots, red bell pepper, sliced and toasted almonds, and sweet mandarin oranges.<\/p>\n
The salad, which is served with a packet of Newman\u2019s Own Low-fat Sesame Ginger dressing, comes with a choice of orange-glazed grilled or crispy white meat chicken breast fillet.<\/p>\n
When buying Asian Salad at McDonald\u2019s, customers may buy the plain salad for just $3.99 or with the grilled or crispy chicken topping for just $5.<\/p>\n
McDonald\u2019s Saipan general manager Marcia Ayuyu said yesterday that they started serving the Asian Salad to their customers last Sunday.<\/p>\n
The Asian Salad, initially offered a few years back, joins the line of Premium Salads available at McDonald\u2019s Middle Road location.<\/p>\n
It is also among their healthy meal alternatives in their menu, including the Southwest Salad and the Fruit & Maple Oatmeal.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re very excited to bring back the Asian Salad since it\u2019s always been a favorite and one of the most popular items in our menu,\u201d Ayuyu told Saipan Tribune. \u201cWhen it was pulled out, customers kept asking when we\u2019re going to have it again. Now it\u2019s back.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to Ayuyu, reintroducing the Asian Salad is timely as more and more diners are picky about what they eat these days.<\/p>\n
\u201cPeople are looking for healthy food choices for a healthier lifestyle. With the Asian Salad, our customers can have a delicious and nourishing meal that will make you feel full for the rest of the day,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Ayuyu said customers are guaranteed that McDonald\u2019s Saipan only uses the freshest vegetable ingredients in preparing the salad.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe only prepare the salad upon order so customers can enjoy its refreshingly delicious taste,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Since they started offering the Asian Salad anew, Ayuyu said many of their patrons have been buying it. \u201cPlease try our Asian Salad, which will only be available for a limited time. We\u2019ve made its price very competitive as our way to thank our customers and make them enjoy a nutritious meal,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Summer treats<\/p>\n
Aside from the Asian Salad, Ayuyu said they also have other thirst quenching promotions in both Middle Road and Garapan locations this summer.<\/p>\n
Just recently, McDonald\u2019s Saipan launched the McCafe Frozen Strawberry Lemonade, a sweet, tangy and icy refreshment that\u2019s perfect for the summer. Its introductory prizes are $2.99 for small (12 oz), $3.75 for medium (16 oz), and $5 for large (22 oz).<\/p>\n
For the McCafe Strawberry Banana Smoothie, a cool blend of strawberries and bananas with ice cream and creamy low-fat yogurt, Ayuyu said they have an ongoing limited promotion where customers can buy one large (22 oz) smoothie for $5.25 and they\u2019ll get another one free.<\/p>\n
The smoothie also comes in a small (12 oz) size for $3.75 and a medium (16 oz) for only $4.50.<\/p>\n
Caffeine loving patrons can choose between McCafe Mocha Frappe or the Premium Roast Iced Coffee.<\/p>\n
McCafe Mocha Frappe, the coffee-chocolate goodness of mocha blended with ice and topped with whipped cream, is available in small (12 oz, $3.75), medium (16 oz, $4.50) or large (22 oz, $5.25) sizes.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, Premium Roast Iced Coffee, which is made of 100 percent pure Arabica beans, comes in five flavors: regular, hazelnut, caramel, vanilla, and sugar-free vanilla. It is available in medium (22 oz, $3) and large (32 oz, $3.75) sizes.<\/p>\n
