The Rotary Club of Saipan is holding a call out meeting for any community volunteers who are interested in assisting with this year\u2019s youth basketball league season at 5:30pm today at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium conference room.<\/p>\n
According to Rotary League organizers, thousands of children between the ages of 9 to 13 play basketball in the CNMI, and of these, over 400 end up playing organized basketball. <\/p>\n
The Rotary Club is looking for active members of the community to serve as level \u201c0\u201d to \u201c1\u201d basketball coaches, junior referees, and scoring table officials.<\/p>\n
Rotary caging organizers will also offer free crash courses in the above-mentioned fields to those interested. More details will be provided at the meeting.<\/p>\n
The Rotary Club caging is organized in conjunction with the Basketball Association of the NMI and FIBA.<\/p>\n
