{"id":153171,"date":"2011-06-30T20:45:00","date_gmt":"2011-06-30T20:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bca14d38-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2011-06-30T20:45:00","modified_gmt":"2011-06-30T20:45:00","slug":"bca14d49-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/bca14d49-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"IT&#038;E Voyagers, Best Choice rule Budweiser 8-ball"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>IT&#038;E Voyagers and Best Choice had different endings to their season, but that didn\u2019t prevent the two teams from finishing atop their respective divisions in the Saipan Billiards Association\u2019s Budweiser Open 8-Ball League regular season<\/p>\n<p>IT&#038;E Voyagers walked away with a 7-0 shutout win at home at Jonny\u2019s Bar &#038; Grill over Wild Bill\u2019s Bar &#038; Grill\u2019s Shark Attack (48-78) last Tuesday night.<\/p>\n<p>The victory against the Obyan Division allowed IT&#038;E Voyagers to finish the season atop the four-member Agingan Division with a league-best 92-34 win-loss record. <\/p>\n<p>Obyan Division runner-up Fotten Palau, meanwhile, upset frontrunner Best Choice of D\u2019Pirates Bar &#038; Grill, 4-3, at home at USSP Peleliu.<\/p>\n<p>Best Choice\u2019s late falter, however, still gave the team the top seed with its overall card of 60-66. Fotten Palau improved its slate to 53-73.<\/p>\n<p>In other games, IT&#038;E Incredibles stamped out D-Pirates\u2019 Pirates (33-93), 6-1, on the road and finished second place in the Agingan standings at 87-39.
