His bail was set at $1,300 cash. Preliminary hearing will be on July 28.<\/p>\n<p>The victim had called the Department of Public Safety on Friday at 2:26am to report a domestic violence incident at her house, according to detective Norman A.S. Rasiang\u2019s report.<\/p>\n<p>Rasiang said that when two police officers arrived at the house, the victim met them and explained that her husband, Magofna, refused to let her inside the house. The officer smelled a strong odor of alcohol from the wife\u2019s breath. <\/p>\n<p>The same officer also spotted a marijuana plant outside the house.<\/p>\n<p>The victim told the officer that Magofna was angry with her when she came home after a rosary. He allegedly grabbed her by the shoulder and slammed her head on the picnic table several times.<\/p>\n<p>Magofna was arrested.
