Camacho, executive director for Make-A-Wish Guam-CNMI Chapter, said Subaru is looking to help one more charity to benefit from the event by \u201cadding a social media crowdsourced voting element\u201d to the event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is one slot left for [non-profit organizations] vying to be one of five recipients of an anticipated $5 million from Subaru,\u201d he told Saipan Tribune.<\/p>\n<p>Camacho said Facebook fans of Subaru can vote for any of the four organizations\u2014Make-A-Wish Foundation, Teach for America, Children\u2019s Miracle Network Hospitals, and American Red Cross\u2014to win the \u201cPeople\u2019s Choice\u201d charity award. <\/p>\n<p>The Subaru of America Facebook page, Camacho said, is hosting the online voting, which started on Aug. 25 and will continue until Sept. 15.<\/p>\n<p>Camacho urged the community to vote for Make-A-Wish Foundation in Subaru\u2019s \u201cShare the Love\u201d program.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis would have a tremendous impact on our collective ability to grant wishes to every eligible child,\u201d said Camacho.<\/p>\n<p>The Make-A-Wish Foundation was founded in 1980 after a young boy, Chris Greicius, realized his heartfelt wish to become a police officer.
