Navarro, 38, was arrested for assault and battery, and disturbing the peace. His bail was set at $125 cash.<\/p>\n<p>Detective Catherine B. Pangelinan said that police officers had responded to Afetnas after a caller reported a disturbance at 11:53pm Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The alleged victim told police that she and Navarro were arguing about his share in the payment of their car when Navarro allegedly choked her, prompting her to scream.<\/p>\n<p>Navarro let her go and walked to the kitchen, looking for a knife.
