{"id":154867,"date":"2011-09-05T21:45:00","date_gmt":"2011-09-05T21:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bd5416f0-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2011-09-05T21:45:00","modified_gmt":"2011-09-05T21:45:00","slug":"bd541703-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/bd541703-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"Shirley&#8217;s caging meeting postponed to Wednesday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The organizational meeting for the 3rd Annual Shirley\u2019s Coffee Shop Invitational Basketball League set for yesterday has been reset to tomorrow, Sept. 7, 6:30pm at the Shirley\u2019s Coffee Shop in Garapan.<\/p>\n<p>League coordinator Boy Lingcaso said he was forced to postpone Monday\u2019s meeting because majority of participating teams were not able to confirm their attendance.<\/p>\n<p>Lingcaso said so far 12 teams have already confirmed their participation in the caging. The list includes inaugural champion Micronesian Brokers, Inc., Mobil, PSS\/McGraw-Hill, Hyatt Regency Saipan, Aqua Resort Club, Fiesta Resort &#038; Spa, Pacific Trading, Wushin, Grillin\u2019, DFS, GPPC, and host Shirley\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>Each team is allowed to recruit only five players outside their companies.<\/p>\n<p>Organizers are planning to hold games in the Shirley\u2019s caging every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Lingcaso said teams rosters and if possible the $500 entrance fee for the competition should be submitted at the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, 10 teams joined the second edition of the Shirley\u2019s caging with Pacific Islands Club winning over Aqua Resort Club in the best-of-three title series.
